Day 3 - August 23, 2013

 

Iqaluit Canada to Ilulisaat, Greenland (530 NM)

Entering into cold territory.  Sunny and pleasant weather.  Ilullissat is the iceberg capital of Greenland.  Largest iceberg is here.  We will stay at Hotel Arctic for 2 nights. 

Illulisaat's  airport is 2500 feet, most jets cannot land there as runway not long enough.  PC 12 can land with no problem. Therefore, we stopped at Kangerlussuaq to pick up the other 4 person in the Citation of our group and give them a ride.
